Helping small-business owners make sense of their finances—and helping a mobile team move faster.
The idea
At Nav, I led the mobile team through rebuilding the Android and iOS applications in Flutter. The work focused on improving the customer experience while reducing development effort and bugs.
I built GitLab CI infrastructure, introduced unit and widget tests, and participated in staff engineering groups. During that project, release cadence moved from roughly monthly to one or two releases per week.
My portfolio records a Staff Engineer role from March 2019 to September 2020, and a return as Mobile Engineering Team Lead beginning in October 2023. In the latter role I supported the mobile needs of three teams, architectural decisions, and other engineers.
