Rebuilding an investing app around a more reliable, approachable mobile experience.
The idea
At Follow, I worked with a teammate to rebuild an application inherited from a contracting company, addressing fundamental issues while adding dozens of features.
I collaborated with backend teammates on API design and implementation, and worked closely with product management to understand how people used the app.
The engineering work included Riverpod, REST APIs, domain-driven design, private Dart packages, Stripe, Sentry, and Segment. My role ran from January to September 2023.
